This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come… (2 Timothy 3:1-7) We are currently living in those perilous times and it seems to get worse as the days continue. The Bible warned that such a time would arise and revealed to us what our response should be. God is sovereign and for those that believe in Jesus Christ, there is no need to panic or fear. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. (Matthew 24:34) Matthew chapter 24 gives us many signs concerning the end of days. Within our lifetime, we are certainly a witness to the truth of this scripture. The Bible tells us that TODAY is the day of salvation therefore, harden not your heart. Tomorrow is not promised and Christ is soon to return. Are you ready?

(John 6:35) This week on The Word & Me we will discuss some differences between natural food and spiritual food. Although, we require natural food to live, our spirit cannot survive strictly on a natural food diet. We are spirit, soul, and body, and our spirits yearn to be fed the bread of life; Jesus.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:10-12) Although the news and reports we hear tell us that Christianity is on the decline and church attendance is down in the states, souls are still being added to the church daily! We are to be faithful to the call and ministry that God has given unto us whether small or great. Believe that God is able to do exactly what he said that he would do. His Word will not return unto him void, but will accomplish what he sent it to do!
