Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. (Matthew 5:9) When we say we are a child of God, we declare that we have the same characteristics and nature as our father.  Jesus is proclaimed as being the Prince of Peace in Isaiah 9:6.  Therefore, not only are we children of the Father, but also citizens of the kingdom of peace. Are you at peace today?  Ask God to settle your thoughts, and bring into alignment your life with his purpose. May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding be with you today!
